Paddy Harvested Area And Production In Bone Regency 2018-2019

The collection of agricultural statistical data on food crops integrated with the Area Sampling Framework or Kerangka Sampel Area (KSA) method is a collaborative effort between the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) and the Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT) in order to improve the conventional methodology of collecting agricultural statistical data to be more objective and modern. Collecting data using the KSA method involves the role of android-based technology so that it is hoped that the agricultural data collected will be more accurate and timely. The coverage of the 2019 KSA covers all provinces in Indonesia and the data collected only includes rice commodities. KSA is held on the last seven days of each month from January to December 2018-2019. The estimated harvest area from KSA observations from January 2019 to December 2019 in Bone was 169.4 thousand hectares, down 44.92 thousand hectares (21%) from the previous year's harvest area. Meanwhile, the estimated rice production in Bone from January to December 2019 is 774.34 thousand tons of milled dry unhulled rice (GKG). This value decreased by around 231.17 thousand hectares (23%). If converted to rice with the conversion rate of GKG to rice in 2018, rice production in 2019 is estimated at 493.33 thousand tons of rice.
