Sakernas Officer Training 2026

The National Labor Force Survey (Survei Angkatan Kerja Nasional / Sakernas) is one of the main sources of employment data used by the government to formulate and evaluate development programs. It is also utilized by academics, practitioners, and the business community, both domestically and internationally, to gain an overview of the conditions and dynamics of the Indonesian labor market. Therefore, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Bone Regency organized the Training for Officers of the August 2026 National Labor Force Survey as an effort to prepare field officers who are competent, professional, and possess high integrity for field data collection.

The August 2026 Sakernas Officer Training was conducted in a hybrid format, combining online and face-to-face (offline) sessions. The training began with 3 days of self-directed learning from July 13–15, 2026, followed by 3 days of Distance Learning (Pelatihan Jarak Jauh / PJJ) held online from July 16–18, 2026, and concluded with a 1-day full-day offline training on July 20, 2026, at the Helios Hotel.

Through this training, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of Sakernas concepts and definitions, interviewing techniques, the use of the Fasih application, and questionnaire completion simulations to ensure the data collection process adheres to established standards. It is hoped that all officers will be able to conduct data collection accurately, objectively, and with high quality, ensuring the resulting data serves as a solid foundation for well-targeted employment policy formulation and supports both national and regional development planning.
